Lubrizol Oil F-Type Engine Animations

Lubrizol requested to show off a high end car animation. Using an F-Type engine, they specified that they wanted to show off a way of their lubrication power.

Working alongside the 3D animators closely, they provided me a scene in which I could use PhoenixFD to create some highly viscous liquid coating itself over the various engine parts. I included a fire animation on the pistons as they combust to add to the realism of the engine.

We then retimed the whole animation using playback tools within 3DS Max.
